Hyundai Group Dominates IIHS Awards

The Hyundai Group dominates coveted IIHS Top Safety Pick awards, scoring more than any other carmaker. Safety runs in family with an impressive 7 Hyundai models receiving either Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+.

Earning a coveted Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is easier said than done, however the Hyundai Group (which includes Hyundai, Kia and Genesis) has scored Top Picks for multiple models, year over year.

Recipients must score a good rating on the institutes six crash tests, must score advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention systems in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluations, as well as be available with headlights that are rated either good or acceptable. Vehicles that have good or acceptable headlights across the full range are eligible for the Top Safety Pick+ award.
